Job Overview:

Big Data Product Owner with over 10 years of experience to join our team in New Jersey, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Big Data systems, solution architecture, and proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires experience in C++ and Python for backend development, a deep understanding of Big Data technologies, and the ability to manage product lifecycles in high-pressure environments.

The Big Data Product Owner will be responsible for driving the development and execution of a big data product, managing technical teams, and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions. Candidates should have hands-on experience in product ownership and a proven ability to architect complex data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product development initiatives for Big Data systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable Big Data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver high-quality, working code in C++ and Python.
• Manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and guide development teams using Agile methodologies.
• Analyze and solve complex technical challenges, ensuring timely delivery of product milestones.
• Drive continuous improvements in CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices in version control.
• Oversee end-to-end solution architecture, focusing on performance, scalability, and security.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Big Data Technologies: Proficient in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HBase.
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Programming Languages: Strong skills in C++ and Python for backend development.
• Frameworks: Experience with TensorFlow, Flask, Django.
• Data Storage Solutions: Familiarity with BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, MongoDB.
• Product Management Tools: Experience using Jira, Trello, Asana.
• CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Version Control: Expertise in Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
• Solution Architecture: Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable Big Data systems.
